Fuck. I love cons.
I really love cons because I went to the host club earlier tonight ... er, well, would be more like last night now, huh. Having done the maid cafe at Katsucon this year, I've sort of learned the finer points of what they're doing. I can say that the host club worked out any of the little snarls we had with foodservice and crowding. Well, that and these gentlemen seem to be pros. One thing they handled nicely was having servers other than the hosts. Which would be a nice thing for maid cafes to do -- free up the girls to do their little meido thing, because a lot of time was taken up waiting for and fretting about food.
I also seem to have won the genuine admiration of the hosts as a group (as opposed to the paid admiration of young Mr. Celestine) when I was coerced
All that said, it's a fantastic endeavour, and I wish to thank all the people who worked on it. I'm sure if you didn't have a chance to check in, you'll have time tomorrow. It's way up on the top floor of the hotel.
As for Co-Writer ... I've seen him but briefly, and I have a feeling that's how it's gonna be 'til after the cosplay. The guy deserves some serious love, not only for running things, but also for *points up* still getting me comics and things while he's been so stressed.
And now, to sleep. If you see us tomorrow ... well, say hi to me, and if you see Rob you can likely judge how chat-up-able he is by how much he's wobbling on his feet. If you have bsfbshuavtgyzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's 2:30 AM at Anime USA, I'm dressed like Takaya Noriko, and I just came back from a meeting of 'parliament' where we ruled that Heero Yuy should be replaced by a box of Saltines.
